This site is a record. A record is only useful if it can be corrected.
Reporting an error
If you believe something published here is inaccurate, write to jacqualine.roche@icloud.com. Please include:
- the address of the article;
- the sentence or passage you believe is wrong;
- what you say is correct, and any document or source that supports it.
What happens next
- I will read every message and aim to reply within 14 days.
- Where an error of fact is verified, the article will be corrected and a dated note added at the foot of the article saying what was changed.
- Spelling and formatting fixes are made without a note.
- Where I do not agree that there is an error, I will say why.
Right of reply
Any person or institution named or described on this site may send a response. I will consider publishing it, in full or in summary, with the article it concerns or as a separate piece. A response must be signed, and I may decline material that is abusive, unlawful or identifies other people without their consent.
Personal narrative on this site is my account of my own experience. A different recollection of the same events is not, by itself, an error, but it can be published as a reply.
Privacy concerns
If you are identifiable in an article and are concerned for your privacy or safety, write to the same address. I will consider removing or changing identifying details. Requests concerning children are given priority.
