⭐ THE QUINOLINE ERA
⭐ THE QUINOLINE ERA
The conditions that shaped everything that followed.
The Quinoline Era arc traces the patterns, omissions, and early signals that later institutions failed to recognise. It establishes the environment the paperwork never contextualised — the backdrop against which every later decision was made.
This arc is not about the drugs alone. It is about the systems that surrounded them: the diagnostic gaps, the misread behaviours, the unrecognised injuries, and the absence of language for what families were living through. It documents the period in which harm was occurring, but the frameworks needed to see that harm did not yet exist.
The official record shows trials, policies, and administrative positions.
This arc shows what those positions looked like in practice — the part that does not appear in the paperwork.
It is the foundation layer of the story: the conditions that shaped the misidentification that followed, the assumptions later systems relied on, and the context that was never carried forward into the decisions that reshaped my family.
